KAJ SO MIKROKREDITI?

V Evropi mora vse več ljudi posodobiti svoje znanje, spretnosti in kompetence, da bi zapolnili vrzeli med svojo formalno izobrazbo in potrebami hitro spreminjajoče se družbe in trga dela.

Ohranjanje in pridobivanje novih kompetenc je bistvenega pomena za omogočanje aktivne udeležbe v družbi, za zagotovitev stalnega osebnega, socialnega in poklicnega razvoja ter za spodbujanje zaposljivosti in socialno-ekonomskih inovativnosti.

Medtem ko imajo kvalifikacije in diplome iz začetnega izobraževanja in usposabljanja ključno vlogo v Evropi, se na alternativne poverilnice vedno bolj gleda kot na način za dodajanje in/ali reformo obstoječih sistemov kvalifikacij.

Mikrokrediti se pogosto prikazujejo in promovirajo kot nov način za posameznike, da zgradijo lasten profil spretnosti (portfelj) z zbiranjem in "nalaganjem" učenja na prilagodljiv način, v lastnem tempu in v skladu z lastnimi prednostnimi nalogami.

Splošni cilj projekta je okrepiti povezavo med EU in nečlanicami EU v jugovzhodni Evropi (Zahodni Balkan) z analizo in opredelitvijo mikrokreditov v poklicnem izobraževanju in usposabljanju, da bi podprli ustreznost, dostopnost in odzivnost institucij poklicnega izobraževanja in usposabljanja in sistemov do sprememb na trgu dela.

WHAT ARE MICROCREDITS?

Within Europe, a growing number of people need to update their knowledge, skills and competences to fill gaps between their formal education and the needs of a fast-changing society and labour market. 

Maintaining and acquiring new competences is essential to enable active participation in society, to ensure continued personal, social and professional development and to boost employability and socio-economic innovation. 

While qualifications and degrees from initial education and training play a key role in Europe, alternative credentials, are increasingly seen as a way to add to, and/or reform, existing qualifications systems. 

Microcredentials are frequently portrayed and promoted as a new way for individuals to build their own skills-profile (portfolio) by collecting and ‘stacking’ learning in a flexible way, at their own pace and according to their own priorities.

The general objective of the project is to reinforce the link between EU and non-EU countries of South-East Europe (Western-Balkans) through the analysis and definition of microcredentials in VET in order to support the relevance, accessibility and responsiveness of VET institutions and systems to changes on the labour market.
