Six students participated in the May meeting (from 23 to 27 May 2022): Lukas Lenjak Pelko (1st AM) and Urban Cimermani (3rd AM) from SS, and Simon Avgust (T2A), Gal Pevec (T2A), Nina Novak (R1C), and Benjamin Kritof (R1C) from SETG (R1C). Prof. Mojca Jager Zaplatil accompanied the pupils on their journey and mobility. 


Day 1: travel day -  long trips involving air travel.

Day 2: We showed to the other participants Novo mesto school center (presentation of school programs, technological development and its use in school, equipment of school workshops, afternoon idea development - Scidrom) as well as our intellectual outputs developed for this project:  Home automation (Smart House), industry (Simple Pneumatic Circuit Voice Control), and automotive applications of artificial intelligence (Image Recognition of Codes or Labels in Automotive).

Our host showed us  their school and workshops at the end of the day.

Day 3: On the third day, two seminars were held for the attendees: 

a) Instruction in voice recognition
b) Instruction of chat-bots

Both seminars focused on turning LEDs on and off (red and green). In the first workshop, they accomplished this with voice recognition, while in the second, they utilized Telegram bots.

Students were instructed in the use of ESP32 microcontrollers, resistors, LEDs, and the following applications: Arduino, Bluetooth voice, and Telegram through these workshops.

Day 4:  trip to Bialystok, the largest city in northern Poland. 

We also visited the University of Technology in addition, and visited the city center. 

The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, specifically the Department of Mechatronics and Robotics, was of particularly interesting.  The students of the faculty presented a number of their faculty-created innovative initiatives: a sports car; a hospital robot that assists care for children; a robot built to work in an emergency, among others. 

Day 5: H going home; thankful for the great experience and wonderful memories.
